Robert Huth was a key part of Leicester City’s rise from relegation candidates to Premier League champions. Initially signed on loan in February 2015, he helped stabilise the defence during the great escape, then joined permanently that summer. In the 2015–16 title season he made 35 league appearances and scored 3 goals, bringing power, experience, and aggression to the back line. His partnership with Wes Morgan gave Leicester the physical, no-nonsense core that suited Claudio Ranieri’s side perfectly. Huth was especially decisive in big moments, including scoring twice away at Manchester City, and his presence made Leicester far harder to break down.
