Leicester City’s 2021 FA Cup win was one of the club’s greatest moments. Brendan Rodgers’ side beat Chelsea 1–0 at Wembley on 15 May 2021, with Youri Tielemans scoring the winner from long range in the second half. It was Leicester’s first FA Cup triumph after four previous final defeats, which gave the occasion extra weight. Kasper Schmeichel was also crucial, making key saves late on, and Chelsea had an equaliser ruled out for offside after a VAR check. The win completed a landmark day for Leicester: a first FA Cup, a defining Rodgers achievement, and another modern high point after the 2015–16 league title.
