Billy Bremner was the heartbeat of Leeds United’s Don Revie era—a fierce, relentless midfielder and the club’s iconic captain. Though small in stature, he played with huge intensity: snapping into tackles, driving the tempo, organising teammates, and setting the competitive tone that defined Leeds in the late 60s and 70s. He led Leeds to their greatest honours, including two league titles (1968–69, 1973–74), the FA Cup (1972) and the League Cup (1968), plus major European runs. To Leeds fans, Bremner still symbolises that era’s edge, discipline, and winning mentality.
