Alan Robertson is a Kilmarnock legend and one-club man. An Irvine-born left-back, he played for Killie from the early 1970s to the late 1980s and became the club’s record appearance holder with 607 matches (often listed as 586 in league + the two main cups), scoring 7 goals. After retiring he stayed at Rugby Park in coaching, becoming a long-serving youth/academy coach, and he helped guide Kilmarnock’s youngsters to the Scottish Youth Cup in 2004. He’s also a Hall of Fame inductee.
