Jason Cummings was one of Hibernian’s most important modern forwards and a big part of the club’s revival in the mid-2010s. A product of the Hibs youth system, he played for the first team from 2013 to 2017 and scored 56 league goals in 114 league appearances. After relegation in 2014, he became Hibs’ top scorer for three straight seasons, each time passing 20 goals, the first player at the club to do that in more than 50 years. He also played a key role in the 2016 Scottish Cup run, scoring in the replay win over Hearts and in the final against Rangers.
