Hibernian won the 1991–92 Scottish League Cup, one of the club’s most memorable modern trophies. The final took place at Hampden Park on 27 October 1991, where Hibs defeated Rangers 3–2. Managed by Alex Miller, Hibs produced a resilient performance against a dominant Rangers side. Goals came from Keith Wright (twice) and Gordon Rae, sealing a famous victory. The win was significant as it ended a long trophy drought stretching back to 1972 and remains one of Hibs’ standout cup triumphs, especially given the strength of Rangers at the time.
