The 1967–68 Scottish Cup (the 83rd staging) was won by Dunfermline Athletic, who beat Heart of Midlothian 3–1 in the final at Hampden Park on 27 April 1968. Dunfermline’s goals came from Pat Gardner (2) and an Ian Lister penalty, while Hearts’ only “goal” was actually a John Lunn own goal (Lunn played for Dunfermline). Notably, Dunfermline knocked out Celtic 2–0 at Celtic Park in the first round, and Hearts eliminated Rangers in a replay.
