Oscar played for Chelsea from 2012–2017, bringing high-intensity pressing, tidy link play, and clever movement as a No.10 / attacking midfielder. He announced himself with two goals vs Juventus in the 2012 Champions League group stage, and became a trusted option under Mourinho for his work rate as much as his technique. Across his spell he made 203 appearances and scored 38 goals in all competitions. He won major honours including two Premier League titles (2014–15, 2016–17) and the Europa League (2013), plus the League Cup (2015). He left in January 2017 for Shanghai SIPG, a move that surprised many given his age.
