Mason Mount was Chelsea’s homegrown midfield engine from 2019–2023, trusted for his pressing, tidy link play, and knack for arriving in scoring areas. He became a regular under Lampard and then Tuchel, and delivered one of the club’s defining moments by assisting Kai Havertz for the winner in the 2021 Champions League final. In the Premier League for Chelsea he recorded 129 appearances, 27 goals, and 22 assists, and he hit a productive peak in 2021–22 with 13 goals in all competitions. He left in 2023.
