Didier Drogba was Chelsea’s ultimate big-game striker across two spells (2004–2012, 2014–15). A powerhouse No.9, he combined elite hold-up play with ruthless finishing and leadership, thriving when pressure peaked. He scored 164 goals in 381 appearances for the club, making him one of Chelsea’s greatest-ever scorers. His defining night was the 2012 Champions League final: he scored the late equaliser and then converted the decisive penalty to win the trophy.
