Chelsea capped an incredible 2025 by winning the FIFA Club World Cup, beating Paris Saint‑Germain 3–0 in the final in New Jersey on 13 July 2025. Cole Palmer scored twice and set up the third, with João Pedro also on the scoresheet, as Chelsea defied expectations against the European champions in a dominant first-half display. The victory came in front of over 81,000 fans at MetLife Stadium and completed Chelsea’s trophy haul for the season under manager Enzo Maresca, marking them as world champions in the expanded 32-team format.
