Kieran Tierney is the modern homegrown Celtic full-back icon: an academy product who broke into the first team in 2015 and became a relentless, high-intensity left-back (and occasional centre-back) with serious delivery and one-v-one defending. In his first spell (2015–2019) he won four Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups, earning repeated young player awards and starring in the Invincible Treble season. He returned to Celtic in June 2025 (free transfer), back in No.63, adding experience and leadership to the squad.
