Scott Sinclair joined Celtic in August 2016 and made an immediate statement, scoring the winner on his debut at Hearts. A direct winger with sharp movement and finishing, he became a major weapon in Brendan Rodgers’ all-conquering side. In 2016–17 he helped deliver the Invincible Treble and swept individual honours, including PFA Scotland Player of the Year. Across three-and-a-half seasons he scored 62 goals in 167 appearances, winning eight trophies: three league titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups. His two early strikes against Rangers in September 2016 became iconic. He left for Preston North End in January 2020.
