Shaun Maloney was a skilful, left-footed attacker who became a fan favourite across two spells at Celtic F.C. (2001–2007, 2008–2011). A product of Celtic’s youth system, he offered flair between the lines—quick turns, clever passing and dangerous set-pieces. Celtic’s own figures credit him with 215 appearances and 52 goals, plus a hefty trophy haul during the club’s dominant 2000s era. He later returned to Celtic in a coaching role, underlining how strongly he’s still associated with the club.
