Mikael Lustig was one of Celtic’s most consistent and charismatic players of the 2010s. The Swedish right-back joined from Rosenborg in January 2012 and stayed until June 2019, making 276 appearances and scoring 21 goals. Renowned for his leadership, versatility, and sense of humour, Lustig helped Celtic dominate domestically, winning 16 major trophies — including 8 league titles, 4 Scottish Cups, and 4 League Cups. He was a key part of Brendan Rodgers’ invincible treble-winning side in 2016–17. A cult hero, he left for Gent in 2019, remembered for passion, consistency, and personality.
