Jota (João Pedro Neves Filipe) became a Celtic cult hero in two spells. He arrived on loan from Benfica in 2021, then signed permanently in July 2022 after a standout debut season under Ange Postecoglou. In his first two years he delivered goals, flair and end product, helping Celtic stack trophies (Postecoglou-era dominance) and leaving with 28 goals in 83 appearances. He was sold to Al-Ittihad in 2023 for £25m, but returned to Glasgow in January 2025 on a five-and-a-half-year contract, with the deal widely reported around £8m.
