Odsonne Édouard arrived from PSG on loan in 2017, then became Celtic’s record signing in June 2018. A powerful, quick striker with sharp movement and close control, he led the line as Celtic dominated domestically, scoring 87 goals in 179 appearances.He won multiple Premiership titles and cups, and produced big-game moments—most memorably a brace against Hearts in the 26 May 2019 Scottish Cup final to seal the “treble treble”. In Europe he offered a reliable outlet and link play, though consistency dipped in his final season before a 2021 move to Crystal Palace. He remains fondly remembered at Parkhead.
