Kyogo Furuhashi joined Celtic from Vissel Kobe in July 2021 and instantly lifted the attack with explosive movement, relentless pressing, and one-touch finishing. Under Ange Postecoglou (and later Brendan Rodgers), he delivered trophy-winning moments: a League Cup final double against Hibernian in 2021 and another final brace versus Rangers in 2023. He won the 2022–23 Scottish Premiership Golden Boot after 27 league goals. Overall, Kyogo scored 85 goals in 165 Celtic appearances and collected eight major honours before leaving for Rennes in January 2025. Fans adored his humility and off-ball runs.
