Dean Holdsworth’s Brentford legacy is about goals, promotion, and one outstanding title-winning season. He became one of the club’s key strikers around the turn of the 1990s and was central to Brentford winning the Third Division title in 1991–92. Brentford’s official history highlights that he scored 38 goals that season, forming a prolific partnership with Gary Blissett and helping drive the club forward. Holdsworth was a sharp, instinctive finisher rather than a flashy forward, but he had the movement and composure to decide games regularly. His place in Brentford’s Hall of Fame reflects how important he was in one of the club’s standout modern campaigns.
