Griffin Park was Brentford’s home from 1904 to 2020 and is one of the club’s most iconic symbols. It was a compact, old-school ground famous for its atmosphere and for being the only English league stadium with a pub on each corner. Brentford officially left it in 2020 when they moved to their new stadium, calling time on more than a century of history. The ground mattered because it felt local, tight, and distinct, with supporters almost on top of the pitch. Griffin Park represents traditional Brentford: community, character, and a strong underdog identity that still shapes the club today.
