Joshua King was one of the standout forwards of Bournemouth’s Premier League era. Signed from Blackburn Rovers in 2015, he gave the side pace, pressing, and flexible attacking play across the front line. He was especially important under Eddie Howe, with his best top-flight season coming in 2016–17 when he scored 16 Premier League goals. The Premier League’s records credit him with 53 goals and 18 assists in 184 league appearances for Bournemouth, and he remains the club’s record Premier League goalscorer with 48 goals in the competition. King is remembered as a key figure in establishing Bournemouth as a credible Premier League side.
