Ben Foster was Birmingham City’s No.1 from 2010 to 2012, arriving from Manchester United to replace Joe Hart. He debuted on the opening day of 2010–11 and made 38 Premier League appearances that season, including a headline performance as Blues beat champions Chelsea 1–0 at St Andrew’s. He kept 9 league clean sheets in 2010–11. In summer 2011 he switched places (on loan) with Boaz Myhill and joined West Brom for 2011–12, before moving permanently—ending his Birmingham spell after two seasons.
