Joe Bradford is Birmingham City’s greatest goalscorer. The centre-forward played for Blues from 1920 to 1935, scoring 267 goals in 445 appearances in all competitions (including 249 league goals in 414 league games) — a club record that still stands. He was the team’s main finisher for more than a decade, and he also scored Birmingham’s only goal in the 1931 FA Cup Final (a 2–1 loss to West Brom). Internationally, Bradford won 12 England caps, scoring 7.
