Petr Čech’s Arsenal spell (2015–2019) was veteran excellence with a few frustrating lows. Signed from Chelsea, he brought calm, organisation, and elite shot-stopping, winning the Premier League Golden Glove in 2015–16 as Arsenal pushed Leicester. At his best he was still world-class—commanding his box, saving Arsenal in tight games, and mentoring younger defenders. As the team shifted tactically, his limitations with the ball at his feet became more exposed, and big errors crept in, especially late on. He still won two FA Cups (2017, 2018) and left respected as a top pro who raised standards.
