A left winger famed for his close control, balance, and devastating dribbling, Cooper joined Rangers in 1977 and quickly became a fan favourite at Ibrox Stadium. He played a key role in Rangers’ domestic success, winning two league titles and three Scottish Cups. Beyond club level, Cooper’s performance for Scotland against Brazil in the 1982 World Cup elevated his reputation internationally. His career and life were tragically cut short in 1995, but his legacy endures as a symbol of pure footballing artistry.
