Grant Holt became a Norwich City legend by powering the club’s rapid rise under Paul Lambert. Signed from Shrewsbury in 2009, he scored 30 goals as Norwich won League One in 2009/10, then led the line again as they earned promotion from the Championship in 2010/11. In the Premier League, he proved doubters wrong with 15 league goals in 2011/12, finishing as Norwich’s top scorer. Physical, relentless and clinical, Holt gave the side personality as well as goals. He left in 2013 with 78 goals in 168 appearances and a lasting place in modern Norwich folklore.
