Kenny Jackett’s Millwall spell was defined by stability, overachievement and a sense that the club consistently punched above its weight. Appointed in November 2007, he rebuilt the side after a poor League One start and then took them to back-to-back play-off campaigns, winning promotion at Wembley in 2010. He followed that by establishing Millwall in the Championship, with a strong ninth-place finish in 2010/11, and later guided them to the 2013 FA Cup semi-finals. Jackett resigned in May 2013 after six seasons in charge, leaving with a reputation as one of Millwall’s most effective modern managers.
