Robert Huth was a key part of Leicester City’s rise from relegation candidates to Premier League champions. He first joined on loan in February 2015 and helped steady the defence during the great escape, earning a permanent move that summer. In the 2015–16 title season he made 35 Premier League appearances and scored 3 goals, bringing power, experience, and aggression to the back line. His partnership with Wes Morgan gave Leicester the physical, no-nonsense centre-back pairing that suited Claudio Ranieri’s side perfectly. Huth also delivered big moments, most famously scoring twice in the 3–1 win away at Manchester City in February 2016.
