Gary Holt was a key midfielder for Kilmarnock during a successful period in the late 1990s and early 2000s, making over 150 appearances after progressing through the club’s youth system; renowned for his tremendous work rate, energy and versatility, Holt helped Killie compete regularly in the top half of the Scottish Premier League and in European competition, with his consistent performances earning him a move to Norwich City in 2001 and eventually 10 Scotland caps, establishing him as one of Kilmarnock’s notable academy graduates.
