Andersen has had two Fulham spells. He first joined on loan from Lyon for 2020–21, quickly becoming a key centre-back and even captaining the side at times. Fulham’s own coverage of his return describes him as a fan favourite from that loan year. He came back permanently in August 2024, signing a five-year deal until 2029. For Fulham, Andersen is mainly associated with calm defending, leadership, and excellent passing out from the back. He remains part of the current first-team squad in 2026, so his Fulham story is still being written.
