Craig Sibbald came through Falkirk’s youth academy and became a major figure for the Bairns, making his first-team debut at just 16 in 2011; a skilful and intelligent midfielder, he made more than 250 appearances, helped Falkirk win the 2012 Scottish Challenge Cup, featured in the 2015 Scottish Cup Final and was part of sides that repeatedly challenged for promotion to the Premiership, with his creativity, technique and long service making the locally developed midfielder one of Falkirk’s most popular players of the 2010s.
