Kenny Dalglish is one of the greatest players in the history of Celtic F.C.. A product of the club’s youth system, he made his first-team debut in 1969 and became a key figure in the team during the 1970s, scoring 167 goals in 322 appearances. During his time at Celtic, Dalglish won four league titles, four Scottish Cups and one League Cup before moving to Liverpool F.C. in 1977 for a British record transfer fee. He went on to become one of football’s most celebrated players, winning multiple league titles and European Cups with Liverpool. For Celtic supporters, Dalglish remains a club legend whose intelligence, creativity and goalscoring ability made him one of the finest players ever to wear the green and white hoops.
