Tomáš Rosický was one of Borussia Dortmund’s most elegant midfielders. Signed from Sparta Prague in 2001, he brought creativity, close control, vision, and a real sense of style to BVB’s attack. He was a key part of the team that won the 2001–02 Bundesliga title, often linking midfield and forward play with quick passing and intelligent movement. Bundesliga records credit him with 149 league appearances, 20 goals, and 32 assists for Dortmund. More than the numbers, Rosický became a fan favourite because he made the team feel imaginative and fluid. He is still remembered as one of Dortmund’s most gifted modern playmakers.
