Andreas Möller was one of Borussia Dortmund’s key playmakers in the late 1980s and 1990s. He had two spells at BVB and brought creativity, technique, goals, and big-match quality from attacking midfield. His first spell included the 1989 DFB-Pokal, but his second was the more important one: he helped Dortmund win back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 1995 and 1996, then played a major role in the 1997 Champions League triumph over Juventus. Reliable historical records credit him with two assists in that final. Möller was not just stylish, he was decisive, and he remains one of Dortmund’s standout stars of that era.
